​Registration Opens for the 2017 Recruitment & Retention Conference

BRENTWOOD, TENN., October 6, 2015 – ConversionU (training division of Conversion Interactive Agency) and Transport Topics announced today that registration is now open for the fourteenth annual Recruitment and Retention Conference. The event is scheduled for February 22-24, 2017 at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., and Emmy-nominated actor John Ratzenberger is scheduled as one of the event’s keynote speakers.

“Today, more than ever, carriers need to understand the data that is available to them, and how they can use that to make better decisions for their fleet when it comes to recruiting and retaining drivers,” said Kelley Walkup, president and CEO of Conversion Interactive Agency. “This year, the conference theme is focused on equipping and developing recruiting professionals to make data driven decisions in their recruiting and retention efforts. The 2017 Recruitment and Retention Conference schedule includes insight from transportation industry experts and those who know and understand how data can drive important decisions for fleets looking to improve driver recruiting and retention. Emmy-nominated actor John Ratzenberger, best known for playing mail carrier Cliff Clavin on the long-running NBC sitcom “Cheers” will share with attendees how to effectively salute drivers in the industry and retain them in a difficult market. Attendees will also hear from veteran technology leader for the trucking industry, Steve Bryan, CEO of Vigillo, who manages a team of data scientists that dissect driver data daily.

Other topics on the agenda for the 2017 conference include workshops covering driver pay data and information, networking in the round, a driver panel of today’s drivers, and more. “These topics and many more make up the conference agenda, and attendees can be confident they will leave the event with valuable information and insight for their recruiting and retention teams,” added Walkup.
